Confession

Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offense committed against Him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion.”

In the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we approach God understanding how sin has hurt our soul and ask for his love and mercy. Confession helps the person to acknowledge one’s sinfulness but not to despair. Through the graces of this Sacrament, a person is forgiven of our past sins, and they resolve to work on the virtues and habits that will help them be closely united to their faith in God.
